Our decades-old expertise in our areas of practice, has offered us deep insight and a wealth of knowledge for various legal services in Ghana. The firm offers comprehensive legal advice, court representation and other legal services to both local clients and clients with international business interests, specializing in protection of intellectual property rights, company/corporate and commercial laws, privatizations, mergers and acquisitions, labour, insurance and family law amongst other legal services.

The firm is also the premier intellectual property law firm in Ghana and works with a number of world famous intellectual property law agents. The firm has an extensive local and international client base including many large multinational corporations and it is widely respected and recognized for its professionalism and for providing legal services of high quality.

In recent years we have gone through restructuring and modernization with a vibrant team, whilst maintaining the ethos of quality services over quantity. FUN FACTS

As one of the oldest (if not the oldest) law firms in Ghana, Kudjawu & Co. was born upon the exit of Giles Hunt & Co., a UK based law firm then handling legal matters of the colonial government before Ghana attained independence.
Founder of Kudjawu & Co. Norbert Kwasivi Kudjawu joined Giles Hunt & Co., took over, and formed what we now know as Kudjawu & Co. post-independence of Ghana and upon exit of last ex-patriate member of the erstwhile firm.
Kudjawu & Co like its predecessor firm, specializes in corporate, commercial, industrial and intellectual property laws, and has additional specialization in labor, maritime, insurance and family law amongst others, and has continued actively serving clients for over 60 years since 1963.
